Demo notice
The deployment at norma.sevres.org is a demonstration system. It exists to exercise the CLASP protocol end-to-end against fictional and public-domain standards content, and to let evaluators explore what a CLASP-conformant gateway looks like in operation.
What this demo is not
- Not a commercial license. The OAuth tokens issued by this deployment are HS256-signed JWTs minted on demand without identity verification, payment, or any commercial relationship. They do not grant any rights to the underlying standards beyond what is public-domain or freely-redistributable.
- Not a production hosting service. Availability, performance, content correctness, and revocation timing carry no guarantee. The deployment may be reset, rebuilt, or taken down at any time without notice.
- Not a license clearinghouse. License provisioning between AI Systems and real Content Owners is bilateral. The demo does not broker, mint, or attest to any commercial entitlement.
- Not a marketplace. Discovery is limited to the ten publishers seeded into this Norma instance (four fictional, six public-domain). It does not aggregate or proxy any external SDO.
- Not legal or engineering advice. Content returned by the demo MUST NOT be used in place of an authoritative subscription to the standards represented. The fictional publisher content (PASC, TMF, BPEC, IESF) describes standards that do not exist; the public-domain content is verbatim from the cited federal or freely-redistributable sources but is not a substitute for current publisher distributions.
Citation envelopes from the demo
Citation envelopes produced by this deployment are well-formed CLASP envelopes. They MUST NOT be attached to engineering deliverables that carry regulatory, stamped, or contractual weight. Theendpoint_uri field in any envelope from this deployment will resolve to norma.sevres.org/<publisher>/... and is a clear marker that the retrieval was a demonstration.
What you can do with the demo
- Exercise every CLASP tool against the loaded content to understand the protocol's wire shapes.
- Test AI-System integrations against a real, conformant CoMP + MCP handshake without needing licensed-content access.
- Cite specific behaviors of the demo in technical discussion with the Sèvres project. We expect this kind of feedback to inform spec revisions and the eventual production Norma offering.
